宁波诺丁汉大学2020博雅文化节
诚挚邀请您来参与！
“博雅”的拉丁文原意是“适合自由人”。博即文理相通且通识，雅则为“做人第一、修业第二”。当然，其中的深意远不止此，宁波诺丁汉大学校长杨福家认为，“最好的教育是博雅教育”。现在请带着博雅给我们的信仰，一起重新思考，不再受学科类别的框架束缚，跳出过度化专业划分的禁锢，做学术上和生活上的“自由人”。

活动亮点
表演、论坛、讲座、竞赛、电影、经济周六大板块数十场跨界活动任君选择，话题涵盖古今中外。
活动时间从10月中旬一直持续至11月19日，不容错过哦。

线上系列公开课
10月8日-11月5日
宁诺人文社科学院开展的一系列线上公开课已陆续在官方平台和大家见面了。英文讲座、双语字幕、话题广泛，欢迎大家前往宁诺官方微博和B站观看课程直播！

口译大赛
10月15日-11月1日
将英汉互译作为基本考核内容，以真实口译资料为题材，为爱好英语的大家创造亲身体验专业文化翻译的机会。
宁诺人文社科学院X宁波博物院
院校合作学术交流基地揭牌
10月21日
今后，双方将在人才培养与知识交流上开展合作，为学生提供优质的实习机会；加强在公共服务和社会教育上的协作，开展专题展览、文化沙龙、主题出版、文博育人等各种形式的学术交流活动。
此前，双方曾在大型活动“双城记”合作过。
全国大学生英语竞赛宁诺站
10月25日
全国大学生英语竞赛是由中国英语外语教师协会（TEFL China）和高等学校大学外语教学研究会联合主办的大学生英语综合能力竞赛。此次，宁诺人文社科学院将在校园组织竞赛初赛。
线下公开讲座
10月28日
问创教育联合创始人Julian Fisher将进行“在中国从事国际教育工作”主题讲座，现场分析行业现状、未来趋势、雇主们正在寻找的关键技能以及在国际教育机构或部门找到心仪工作的实用技巧。
经济周
11月2日-11月8日
在一周的时间内，通过讲座、游戏、辩论等多种多样的方式，向大家展示经济学的魅力，学习经济学的知识。
美国大选圆桌讨论
11月4日
邀请师生观看美国大选直播，共同探讨选举制度、国际政治等话题，见证美国选举史上又一重要时刻。
对角巷之夜
11月15日
大家可扮演《哈利·波特》小说中的人物角色，和随机分配的陌生朋友共看电影、互动聊天、参加游戏，在渐凉的气温中获得一份温暖的难忘回忆。
闭幕式-寻找博雅人颁奖晚会
11月19日
11月，将举行宁诺博雅人物评选活动，评选出的校园博雅人将登上舞台展现才艺，诠释博雅教育的魅力和能量。

Activity Preview
Online series of open classes
A series of online open courses launched by Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. English lectures, bilingual subtitles, on a wide range of topics.
Time: 8 October- 5 November
Interpreting competition
Testing our students’ competence in translating between English and Chinese.
Time: 15 October- 1 November
Establishing the FHSS - Ningbo Museum academic exchange base
This relationship will allow co-operation to provide students with high-quality internship opportunities, strengthen collaboration in research and teaching, and create a base for such activities as exhibitions, cultural salons, publishing, museum education, etc.
Time: 21 October
Public lecture
Julian Fisher, Cofounder of Venture Education, will give a lecture on "Working in International Education Sector in China" to analyse the industry’s current situation, future trends, key skills employers are seeking, and the practical skills for finding jobs in international educational institutions and departments.
Time: 28 October
Economics Week
A week of lectures, games, debates and other events to strengthen your understanding of economics.
Time: 2-8 November
US Election Night Roundtable
Academics and students will come together to watch live broadcasts of the US election, discuss the results as they come in, and witness another important moment in American politics.
Time: 4 November
Harry Potter —Diagon Alley Night
You can play characters in the Harry Potter novels, watch the movies, chat with fellow enthusiasts, and participate in Harry Potter-themed games.
Time: 15 November
NECCS in UNNC
The National English Contest for College Students is a comprehensive English competence competition for college students jointly sponsored by China Association of foreign language teachers (TEFL China) and the College Foreign Language Teaching Research Association. This time, FHSS will organise the preliminary competition on campus.
Time: 25 October
UNNC Liberal Arts Talent Show
An opportunity for everyone at UNNC to showcase their artistic talents.
Time: 19 November
